**MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN**

The House of Motorcycles currently has a vacancy for an experienced Motorcycle Technicians to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. With high attention to detail, must be able to diagnose, repair and complete jobs within a timely manner.

Qualification & Experience required:

- AQF Certificate III in Motorcycle Mechanics or equivalent trade qualification.
- At least 5 years of on-the-job training / relevant experience in a similar role.
- Well presented, well organized and have a passion for all things mechanical.
- Must be willing and able to work on a every aspect and model of a wide range of Motorcycles.
- Consolidated use of computers, tools and equipment to service a wide range of Motorcycles.
- Advanced communication skills to liaise with customers, manufacturers and internal departments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and safety.
- Reliable, honest and punctual.

Skills Required for this role:

- Detecting and diagnosing faults in small engines mechanics and associated components.
- Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions and other mechanical components associated with motorcycle maintenance.
- Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as required.
- Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and adjustments to mechanical components to ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
- Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired.
- Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for optimal performance.
- Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers and specific measuring equipment.

Remuneration/ Salary:

- $70,000- $80,000 per annum
- Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. These details will be discussed with the successful applicant.

This is a permanent, fulltime position and the suitable applicant must be able to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment.
