Casual Practice Manager

Family Doctor is seeking an experienced Practice Manager from the General Practice space to join our Support Office Team. This role is newly created to further support Practices face to face and remote as required. This role is roving and the candidate will need to have the ability to travel nationally.

Our Support Office is located in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, Family Doctor is a privately owned, non-corporate, and forward-thinking medical group. We have experienced significant growth, operating 109 medical and dental centres across six states in Australia, with more expansion expected in the coming months and years. Our team collaborates to bring innovative solutions to our network of clinics.
About the Role:
We are seeking a casual Practice Manager to provide additional support to our clinic Practice Managers in person across our network. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations within our practices while providing support to staff and patients. Responsibilities include covering Practice Manager vacancies, coaching Practice Managers on processes and systems and ensuring timely resolution of action items. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager to apply your skills and experience in different geographical locations.
About You:
- Experienced Medical Practice Manager of a General Practice
- Ability to travel nationally including with limited notice
- Strong business skills and understanding of the financial management of a medical business including Practice Incentive Programs
- Comprehensive understanding of the front end management, including Medicare rebates, debtor analysis, 3rd party claiming, etc.
- Experience with Best Practice Software essential.
- Experience in Practice Accreditation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
