This role focuses on the creation and production of pastry and desserts, offering a significant opportunity for a chef who excels in precision, innovation, and quality. The restaurant prides itself on a high standard of excellence, providing an environment where culinary professionals can thrive and innovate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute a sophisticated pastry menu, reflecting contemporary trends and classic techniques.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation in all pastry and dessert offerings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior pastry chefs in the team, ensuring skills development and adherence to best practices.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of high-quality ingredients, with an emphasis on sustainability and ethical sourcing.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a cohesive and exceptional dining experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a fine dining, high-end restaurant or 5-star hotel environment.
  • A strong portfolio of sophisticated desserts and pastries, showcasing skill, creativity, and knowledge of current culinary trends.
  • Culinary arts qualification, with a specialization in pastry preferred.
  • 5 years experience working as a pastry chef with at least 3 at CDP level.
  • Good level of English and the ability to pass the required English test for the visa.
