About Us: Since 2008, Black Star Pastry has grown from a boutique in Newtown to a beloved brand, famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake. Our team thrives in a fun, inclusive, and collaborative environment, dedicated to quality and creativity.

The Role: You will lead the Strawberry Watermelon Cake (SWC) section, overseeing production, quality, and team coordination. This is a permanent full-time position with unrestricted working rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SWC section, ensuring high-quality output and presentation
  • Coordinate workflows, maintain inventory, and oversee supply chain
  • Drive all aspects of SWC production, from prep to final display
  • Support and develop team members, fostering a positive work environment

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Pastry Chef or CDP for 2+ years
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production kitchen preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively
