About CMI Accessories

CMI Accessories is one of Australia's leading wholesale distributors of mobile phone, tech, and lifestyle accessories. We partner with global brands including Kate Spade, Pelican, Flaunt and more, supplying major retailers, telcos, and independent stores across the country.

About the Role

This role is dynamic, covering both accounts and operational support. You'll work closely with management, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and reconciliations
  • Assist with bookkeeping and reporting (Xero/MYOB or similar)
  • Provide weekly and monthly business reporting to management
  • Support warehouse operations: order processing, dispatch coordination, and inventory checks
  • Assist the customer service team with queries via phone and email
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight partners, and retailers to resolve operational issues
  • Support system and process improvements across the business
  • Provide general administrative support to management and the wider team
Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years' experience in accounts, operations, or administration
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero or similar) and MS Office/Excel
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing tasks
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with wholesale or e-commerce software (e.g., Maropost, Shopify) highly regarded
  • Background in wholesale, distribution, or eCommerce (preferred but not essential)
