About the role:

Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for pricing strategy and data-driven decision-making?

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Merchandise Pricing Co-ordinator to join our team at Norco AgriSolutions and play a critical role in optimising our pricing strategies to enhance profitability and competitiveness.

This is a full time, permanent position based in Labrador, Gold Coast.

Reporting to the Merchandise Services Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and managing pricing strategies that drive business success. Your ability to analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and sales data will inform strategic pricing decisions to ensure alignment with business objectives. Cost of goods maintenance will be an integral part of this role, ensuring sustained profitability.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Implement pricing strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
• Analyse product performance, market trends, and competitor pricing to adjust pricing accordingly.
• Support promotional pricing initiatives to drive financial outcomes.
• Maintain cost of goods management to optimise profitability
• Generate reports and pricing models to guide decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams across sales, marketing, and merchandising.
• Ensure compliance with pricing policies, regulations, and best practices.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency

What we're looking for:

• 1-2 years of experience in pricing coordination, data analysis, or business analytics, preferably in retail.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing software, SQL, Python, Excel, or statistical tools.
• A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
