Overview

Presently, our Facility is seeking motivated, experienced Food Service Assistants and cleaners to join the team on a casual basis.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake cleaning schedules for Food Service areas.
  • Notify cook/chef of any changes to menu or issues relating to service delivery.
  • Clean dishes, including loading and unloading dishwashers.
  • Meet care recipients needs and choice on an ongoing basis in relation to food preparation, presentation and delivery.
  • Carrying food trays from food trolley to resident\'s bed.
  • Manually handle supplies, stores and food items in and out of cool rooms and storage rooms.
  • Cleaning all areas in the facility as specified on cleaning schedules.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used according to instructions and is always clean and fully functional.
  • Reporting any dysfunctional equipment as soon as possible.
  • Reporting of any hazards when identified.
  • Undertake stock control by monitoring quality of chemicals and report any problems.
Qualifications
  • Certificate in Food Handling
  • Food preparation and presentation
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety requirements
