About The Role

The Navigator/Scheduler works within HammondCare's Mission and Mission in Action to be a first point of contact for staff, clients, and stakeholders, including the public, regarding HammondCare At Home services.

This role provides excellent customer service, relevant information, and links calls to appropriate staff efficiently. It supports HC Service plans, enhances organizational effectiveness, and advocates for HammondCare's Mission and values. The role involves handling inquiries, complaints, troubleshooting, and providing information, managed by the HammondCare Support Navigator.

We are looking for motivated Casual Navigators/Schedulers at our HammondCare Support location in Wahroonga, NSW. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your efforts make a real impact.

The position offers 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, initially for 6-8 weeks, with potential extension based on needs.

This is an on-site role with no remote work flexibility.

Key Focus Areas
  • First point of contact for internal (staff) and external (clients, public) inquiries about HammondCare At Home services.
  • Respond to inquiries, requests, problems, and complaints accurately, efficiently, and empathetically.
About You
  • Commitment to HammondCare's Christian Mission and values.
  • Experience in customer service or contact centre roles.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management and prioritization.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Problem-solving skills with limited supervision.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to customer service excellence and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Relationship building, active listening, and empathy skills.
  • Ability to record and maintain accurate information in a paperless environment.
  • Ability to deliver empathetic, script-adherent service.
  • Understanding of KPIs.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including database management and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Home Care Packages Program Guidelines and Standards.
  • Relevant qualification (e.g., Business Admin, Communications, IT) or working towards one (Desirable).
