Job Title: Director | Principal Speech Pathologist

Kids and Cubs Clinic is a paediatric speech pathology practice dedicated to providing assessment and therapy services to children aged 0-16 years.

Job Description

This is a unique, part-time community and clinic based role for a Speech Pathologist in Balmain, NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Running preventative speech and language programs for children across local educational settings.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualised therapy plans.
  • Providing therapy for receptive and expressive language, speech sound development, fluency disorders, fussy feeding issues, and literacy development.
  • Working closely with families and other professionals to support children's communication needs.
Requirements
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
  • Skills in developing and implementing individualised therapy plans.
  • Experience in working with children with a range of speech and language disorders.
  • Knowledge in addressing literacy development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology and eligibility for practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Valid Working With Children Check.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in paediatric settings is preferred.
