Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech Pathologist, located in the Greater Sydney Area with some work-from-home flexibility. The Speech Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and treating communication and literacy disorders in children. Day-to-day tasks include conducting speech and language assessments, developing individualised therapy plans, providing direct therapy, and collaborating with other clinicians to offer comprehensive care. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and communicating progress with families.

Qualifications

  • Ability to assess children and adolescents speech, language, and literacy
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing individualised treatment plans
  • Experience with a multidisciplinary approach to therapy, including collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with children and families in a supportive environment
  • Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
