Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Casual Laboratory Assistant to play a key role in performing routine analysis in our environmental laboratory and to produce results in a timely manner.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation and analysis of routine samples.
  • Compliance with analytical methods and quality MS.
  • Preparation of standards.
  • Calibration, operation and maintenance of analytical instruments.
  • Analysis and recording of data/results.
  • Collection of field or factory samples.
  • Assist chemists in various tasks including minor repairs of equipment.

Qualifications
  • Certificate IV (TAFE) or equivalent
  • One to two years of laboratory experience or similar
  • Flexibility with working hours and tasks (afternoon shift)
