Due to business growth and internal mobility we have multiple opportunities for Permanent and Contract Assistant Development Managers to join our Masterplanned Communities team in Western Australia.

The Opportunity - About the Role

Based at our Perth Head Office you will work with a team of experienced property professionals that will provide you with mentoring and development to progress your career. Supporting an experienced project team, this diverse and rewarding role will see you develop your skillset in Residential Development.

Depending on your skills and experience we have multiple opportunities to work on projects within our portfolio that are at different stages of the development cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Team: Ensure projects are scoped, designed, and delivered according to business strategy.
  • Financial and Contract Management: Help with financial plans, contract preparation, and securing approvals.
  • Planning Approvals: Assist in obtaining necessary planning approvals to ensure project compliance with local regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and review engagement plans to drive strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Customer Response: Address customer issues professionally and promptly.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Enable efficiencies by connecting people across functions.
  • Risk Management: Implement operational risk procedures and identify compliance issues.
  • Project Review: Support end-of-project reviews to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
About You

We are looking for resilient and proactive professionals eager to build their career in property development. To be successful you will be a self-starter with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate customer-focused outcomes. In addition you will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in a related discipline with prior relevant experience
  • Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter is a must
  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration
  • Ability to ask the right questions to achieve desired outcomes
  • Developed stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Resilience and excellent communication skills
  • Strong report writing skills
  • WA drivers licence and reliable vehicle
