About Northern Health

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager in the Capital Development team. The primary role is to develop and monitor project plans, effectively managing issues, priorities, risks, conflicts and communications during the design, construction and commissioning phases of capital projects. You will work within a Capital Team responsible for planning and delivering a range of multi-million-dollar capital development projects, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Our work includes planning and project managing for internally funded capital projects as well as large government funded capital developments.

To be successful in this role you will have
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience in a health service environment.
  • Excellent and proven project management experience within a health service.
  • Strong knowledge, skills and experience appropriate within Clinical Operations or Capital Projects.
  • Complex understanding of occupational health and safety and regulatory requirements associated with the different management and isolation of infrastructure within health services.
