Application Support Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an Application Support Analyst to provide level 2/3 application support to business stakeholders and customers, supporting critical enterprise applications such as Maximo, Enablon, Wellnomics, qTest and associated integrations with other applications. You will join an innovative team that values knowledge sharing and a collaborative culture as they support Transurban's Corporate Applications. Day-to-day, you will

• Resolve IT application-related incidents and problems in line with SLA guidelines and procedures
• Restore Application Service promptly and effectively, maintaining close communications with stakeholders and advising status/workarounds to minimise adverse effects on business operations
• Monitor the availability, performance and throughput of supported IT applications and integrations
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve service monitoring
• Contribute to the development of IT Operations processes, procedures, standards, and application documentation
• Proactively identify and implement efficiency gains and application availability improvements
• Perform 24x7 on-call duties on a rostered basis in line with on-call guidelines, procedures, and policies
• Contribute to lifecycle management initiatives such as application upgrades/decommissioning, security patching, certificate renewals/key rotation
• Contribute to asset management initiatives to uplift the business functionality of Maximo

Required and desirable qualifications

• Self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conceptualise complex IT systems
• Experience with Maximo asset management product
• Broad knowledge of application systems, operating systems and cloud services
• Success in a comparable role supporting enterprise-level applications
• ITIL Certification
• Experience with ServiceNow / Jira
• Ability to define processes and document procedures
• Effective communication across all levels and mediums
• Interpersonal and people-management skills
• Experience in logging, tracking and escalating incidents
• Computer Science or related tertiary degree
