Who are we looking for?

We're working on a career-enhancing assignment with a large banking client for a Financial Regulation Lawyer. Joining the Business and Private Banking product team, you will be part of a specialised team of lawyers who provide support in relation to legal risk matters, legal documentation, and legal advice regarding product terms and conditions, marketing and customer communications. The work can include drafting terms and conditions, reviewing customer facing collateral and advising on requirements to comply with regulatory obligations.

This is a parental leave assignment, for approximately 12 months and we are looking for a lawyer to start in January. This is a hybrid working arrangement with two days per week in the office.

To join us, you will:

• Have four years PQE as a Financial Regulation lawyer of commercial lawyer with banking experience.
• Ideally you would have experience in Financial Product Regulation (Corporations Act, ASIC Act, BCOP), preferably with experience in payment products and payment schemes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with a collaborative and partnering approach.
