Senior Payroll Specilalist

A highly successful company with a fantastic reputation in the industry has an urgent requirement for a Senior Payroll Officer with NZ experience on a temp role.
ELMO payroll system experience is desirable and ideally you will also have end-to-end, high-volume payroll processing experience. You will need to have strong attention to detail, with an ability to engage and work effectively in a fast-paced payroll environment.
Strong possibility of the role going permanent.
Responsibilities- End-to-end payroll processing of high-volume fortnightly pays using the ELMO Payroll System
- Processing new starters, terminations, redundancies, retirements and resignations
- Strong understanding of awards interpretation and applying relevant legislation
- Answering payroll queries
- Calculation of manual timesheets
- Resolve payroll queries
- Staff correspondence including salary changes and roster pattern changes
- Employees compensation administration
- Maintaining and updating personnel records
- Strong experience processing end-to-end high-volume payroll
- Experience in NZ payroll processing
- Strong attention to detail
