A Day in the LifeMedtronic has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Educator to join our Acute Care and Monitoring (ACM) business in Victoria. This role involves delivering world-class education for our range of products and being an integral part of our successful team.
The Clinical Educator provides industry-leading product, therapy, and clinical training to Healthcare Professionals throughout Victoria, facilitating access, safety, and support for patients. Our ACM business collaborates with the global healthcare community to address clinically meaningful problems with technologies for blood oxygen management, respiratory compromise, and perioperative complications.
Responsibilities may include:
- Planning, organizing, conducting, and evaluating educational programs for stakeholders including Anaesthetists, Technicians, Intensivists, Nurses, Biomedical engineers, and Surgeons.
- Delivering in-services and presentations on products and clinical applications.
- Supporting field personnel in providing optimal outcomes and service.
- Providing technical backup during clinical or surgical procedures as needed.
- Partnering with clinical and sales teams to promote customer support and sales opportunities.
- Developing and delivering workshops, including new hire training and recertification.
- Participating in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness.
- Identifying growth opportunities with sales and clinical support teams.
- Monitoring educational needs and skills development within the marketplace.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Experience in clinical settings or medical industry as an educator or trainer
- Based in Melbourne
- Active driver's license and own vehicle
