We're on the lookout for an experienced Clinical Educator to lead and inspire in the development of education programs tailored to primary healthcare needs. This role is ideal for a clinician with a knack for teaching, a deep understanding of immunisation and current health priorities, and a drive to shape the future of healthcare training.

In this diverse and rewarding position, you will:

  • Provide expert advice on areas like immunisation practices, ear health, IV Iron Infusions, clinical protocols, and best-practice guidelines.
  • Design and deliver train-the-trainer learning for bespoke clinical education programs that respond to current and emerging needs across the primary healthcare sector and jurisdictional needs.
  • Ensure educational content is current, evidence-based , and aligned with national and local health priorities.
  • Committed to creating a culturally safe and culturally responsive learning environment that recognises the strengths of our learners and their impact in communities.
  • Collaborate across teams to contribute to a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Contributing to the organisation's compliance with Vocational Education and Training (VET) standards and regulatory requirements.

What you will bring to the party:

  • A Registered Nursing background with a broad scope of practice and working experience as a Nurse Immuniser
  • Ideally, a Practice Nurse or Registered Nurse with experience in the Primary Healthcare Sector, looking to make a change into private enterprise.
  • Strong understanding of national and jurisdictional health priorities, particularly in preventative care and community health.
  • A forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to adapt and respond to sector changes.
  • Experience working in a dynamic education team with clinical and non-clinical team members to share knowledge, expertise, and clinical peer reviews.
  • Has capacity and enjoys travelling to metro & regional areas of Australia.
  • Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment ( TAE40116, TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Brings commercial insight and a proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities and emerging course development needs.
  • Is adaptable to changing work demands , likes to be busy and can juggle lots of things.
  • Fun, loves a laugh and enjoys working in a team
