About The Role
The Course Advisor (Field Sales) is responsible for generating domestic, higher education new student enrolments for EDU's higher education entity - Ikon Institute of Australia (Ikon), and EDU's VET entity (ALG). The primary responsibility of this role is active field sales engagement, requiring frequent visits to industry partners, schools, corporate decision-makers, and related events to generate and nurture prospective student leads and foster strategic relationships to drive enrolments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partnerships and events
    • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, school administrators, career advisors, and corporate stakeholders to build partnerships that drive student enrolment.
    • Schedule and conduct regular visits to industry partners, schools, community events, service centers and corporate offices to actively promote EDU's courses.
    • Develop and present tailored course solutions to industry partners, educational stakeholders, and corporate decision-makers.
    • Attend key recruitment events, including Open Days and career events, representing EDU's offerings effectively.
  2. Engagement with prospective students
    • Support and nurture prospective student leads.
    • Engage directly with prospective students and guide them in selecting the most appropriate course and study pathway.
    • Provide accurate information and advice on Ikon's and ALG's courses and enrolment policies to prospective students.
    • Support prospective students in completing their enrolment and collaborate with the Admissions team to obtain additional information.
  3. Market feedback
    • Provide feedback on market trends and potential opportunities for partnerships and enrolments.
    • Gather feedback from prospective students and field interactions, reporting insights to the Manager, and Course Advisors.
  4. Reporting and other
    • Record accurate data in the CRM system in a timely manner.
    • Prepare operational reports on the performance of the lead funnel, identifying relevant issues.
    • Organise and deliver "Product Discovery" sessions with academic staff and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in implementing changes.
Education, Experience, And Skills
  • Bachelor qualification or higher
  • At least 3 years' experience in field sales role within a higher education environment
  • Proven ability to nurture leads from first contact to conversion and build long-term client relationships
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM systems
  • IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Strong presentation skills for delivering engaging and informative sessions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • High-level understanding of key requirements of relevant regulatory frameworks, especially the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.
  • Positive attitude, results-focused, and strong attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle.
