    Job Description

    What this role requires:
    • Process and code invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Reconcile supplier statements and manage discrepancies effectively.
    • Ensure payment runs are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.
    • Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve payment issues.
    • Monitor accounts payable inbox and respond to queries promptly.
    • Assist with month-end tasks, including reporting and reconciliations.
    • Adhere to company policies and compliance regulations in all processes.

    The Successful Applicant

    The Successful Accounts Payable Officer Should Have
    • 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or varied accounts roles.
    • A comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.
    • Proficiency in tier one accounting software such as SAP, Xero or MYOB etc. alongside a strong understanding of Microsoft Suit, specifically Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Understanding of compliance and financial regulations.
