Overview

Power BI/Report Developer

Length: 24 months + 3 x 12-month extensions

Location of work: Canberra

The Power BI/Report Developer will work on a range of complex projects, transformations, data migrations and other programs, utilising a variety of technologies including Oracle, Microsoft Power Platform, Virtual Desktop infrastructure, and Cloud technology among others.

Responsibilities
  • Performing data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing activities
  • Working across the BI stack primarily using Power BI, SSAS, SSRS and SSIS
  • Working across various self-service tools such as Power BI and Tableau to prepare comprehensive reports for business consumption
  • Working with Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project to extract, manipulate and prepare reporting requirements
  • Working closely with the business to capture and validate requirements
  • Utilising languages including JavaScript, CSS, SQL and other JavaScript libraries
