Overview

We are seeking an experienced Power BI/Report Developer to support the delivery of multiple projects introducing new digital solutions within a highly sensitive operational environment. These programs involve implementing modern applications, enabling secure data transport, and migrating information from legacy platforms. The role will focus on developing and optimising reporting solutions that enable actionable insights, drive data-driven decisions, and enhance business operations.

What you\'ll be doing
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to meet business needs.
  • Work across the full business intelligence lifecycle, from data preparation and modelling through to visualisation and publishing.
  • Develop solutions leveraging Microsoft BI stack components (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS) for enterprise reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
  • Contribute to data migration initiatives from legacy platforms, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Optimise data gateways and warehousing processes to support scalable reporting solutions.
  • Support the design, development, and integration of new reporting tools aligned with system re-engineering initiatives.
  • Apply knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, CSS, and related libraries to enhance reporting solutions and improve user experience.
  • Work within Agile or project-based delivery environments to meet milestones and deadlines.
More about you
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, combined with relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years\' experience across data preparation, data warehousing, and data gateway projects.
  • Proven background working with the Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS).
  • 3-4 years\' experience using self-service analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Understanding of systems and software lifecycle engineering, programming, and design.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong skills in SQL, with additional knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and related libraries to extend reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
