IMB Bank is seeking a forward-thinking Third-Party & Strategic Partnership Manager to lead the selection, management, and optimisation of our third-party and strategic partner relationships. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape and evolve our approach to service provider management, ensuring strategic enablement, commercial value, and compliance with regulatory standards.

You'll be at the forefront of embedding a robust framework for third-party engagement, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating across the organisation to enhance operational resilience and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Project Management and Business Continuity, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing and continuously improving IMB's Service Provider Selection and Management Framework
• Supporting senior managers in vendor selection and procurement for strategic engagements ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements
• Assisting Senior Managers in the full lifecycle of service provider - from due diligence and onboarding to performance monitoring and offboarding
• Driving risk mitigation strategies and ensuring proactive monitoring of service provider performance
• Coordinating reporting to regulators, the Board, and Executive Management
• Collaborating with Legal, Risk, IT Security, and other stakeholders to embed third-party risk management across the bank
• Coaching the Senior Management Team in all aspects of IMB's Service Provider Selection and Management Framework.

About You

You will bring a blend of strategic thinking, operational rigour, and stakeholder savvy, with:

• Proven experience in vendor management, procurement and third-party risk, ideally within the Australian financial services sector
• Deep knowledge of APRA Prudential Standards, especially CPS 230 and CPS 234
• Strong expertise in contract negotiation, vendor agreements, and lifecycle management
• Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills, with a track record of securing advantageous commercial terms
• Proficiency in vendor management systems, procurement software, and data analysis tools
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and regulatory excellence.
