Classification
Accounts and Office Administrator to join our growing team, based in our office located in Thornton/Chisholm area.
Description
· Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately.
· Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records.
· Respond to supplier queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
· Ensure that month end financial statements record all invoices that relate to the financial period being reported on.
· Ensure suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed payment terms.
· Liaising with internal stakeholders within the Company for invoice approval and coding.
· Support month-end closing processes by providing required documentation.
· Calculate and distribute weekly payroll with accuracy
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as an Administrative Officer/Accounts Payable
· Strong proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting principles
· Hands-on payroll processing experience
· Familiarity with accounting software (Xero preferred) and payroll systems
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Attention to accuracy and detail
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to payroll and financial management
· Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
