You'll lead a newly formed team, own enterprise-wide frameworks, and serve as the go-to voice for data quality, access, and protection at scale.

  • Report directly to the Director of Delivery & Governance—trusted as a second-in-command

  • Lead a team of 10 across data enablement, cyber, and data competency—shaping both strategy and culture

  • Be the face of governance—translating regulatory complexity into real-world execution

  • Be known internally as the voice of digital resilience—not just a manager, but a business influencer

What you'll lead

Strategy & Influence

  • Define the identity and operating model for a newly formed team

  • Embed governance and enablement into agile delivery and strategic initiatives

  • Own executive-level reporting for digital, data, and cyber risk

  • Represent the function in governance forums and risk councils

Data Governance & Enablement

  • Refresh and implement enterprise data governance frameworks

  • Lead data stewardship, literacy, and accountability programs across the business

  • Ensure compliance with CPS 230, CPS 234, and CPG 235 while enabling delivery

  • Bridge business and technology teams to align data protection with strategic objectives

Cyber & Digital Risk

  • Guide the evolution of first-line risk frameworks across tech and operations

  • Support secure delivery of digital initiatives, agile squads, and third-party engagements

  • Collaborate with 2nd and 3rd line risk to unify risk posture and compliance assurance

  • Oversee audit readiness, controls assurance, and alignment to ISO 27001, NIST, CPS234, and CPS230

  • Contribute to business continuity and incident response strategy

You'll thrive here if you are:

  • A data leader with 7+ years in governance, enablement, or enterprise data strategy

  • Familiar with frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, CPS234, and CPS230, and confident partnering with risk and compliance

  • Experienced in financial services (insurance a bonus) and thrive in fast-paced, regulated environments

  • Known for your clarity, polish, and ability to influence senior stakeholders

  • Driven by ownership, innovation, and the opportunity to build something meaningful
