Where You'll Be Working
Population and Community Health (PaCH) is part of South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. PaCH provides community health services to individuals, families, carers, and population health services focusing on the community or key groups within it. Services are provided at hospitals, community-based facilities including child and family health centres, community health centres, and specialist clinics, collaborating with other service providers across the district.

What You'll Be Doing
The vision for SESLHD is 'exceptional care, healthier lives'. This role involves planning, coordinating, leading, and managing human and financial resources of the Healthy Children and Young People team to deliver cost-effective, quality services that meet key performance indicators and financial targets. You will work as part of a management team to address health needs of disadvantaged groups and enhance knowledge, skills, and environments supporting healthy living and chronic disease prevention. Additionally, you will provide strategic advice on health equity, promotion, and prevention programs, overseeing programs and projects in partnership with stakeholders.

- Strong leadership, management, communication, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with senior management and stakeholders.
- Experience in planning and evaluation at strategic, service, and program levels.
- Current NSW driver's license and willingness to travel across the district.
