Overview

HEAVY VEHICLE DIESEL MECHANIC: Join Australia's Leading Sustainable Materials Supplier.

We are looking for a full-time Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Working out of our Laverton North Workshop & onsites, you'll be maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles and asphalt machines, pavers, rollers, bobcats, profilers & trucks.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose faults and the condition of our machines
  • Identify any worn or damaged parts
  • Carry out preventative maintenance services, maintaining service records
  • Complete and submit the necessary paperwork and reports

This role is a great fit if you
  • Are a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
  • Hold a valid white card, or willing to obtain one
  • Hold a valid Dogman's & forklift ticket highly advantageous
  • Have a commitment to safety
  • Have experience with heavy equipment, such as trucks and earthmoving equipment (preferred)
  • Experience with CAT/HAMM/SAKAI equipment preferred, not essential
  • Like working in a clean, modern, and well-lit workshop
  • Want to work with a great team

All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening. Random drug and alcohol tests are conducted on all Alex Fraser premises.
