Senior Manager Research and Insights — nbn Australia

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, reporting to the Executive Manager Customer Research & Insights. This senior role is responsible for establishing and leading the delivery of a new enterprise-wide Mega Insights Report with CEO-level visibility. It will transform how voice-of-customer insights are delivered across the business by integrating data from multiple sources into a single, actionable monthly report.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the delivery of the Mega Insights Report with CEO-level visibility.
  • Integrate data from over ten sources (e.g., surveys, social media, app reviews, contact centre feedback) into a single monthly report.
  • Design the report structure and delivery model.
  • Synthesize insights to clarify strategic focus and craft compelling narratives that answer "So what?" and "Now what?" for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and continuously improve the reporting process.
  • Ensure insights are statistically robust and aligned with commercial and customer goals.

What you'll bring

  • Extensive experience across multiple industries with a track record of delivering strategic insights projects.
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or Experience Design (or equivalent).
  • Executive-level communication and influence skills.
  • Strong technical skills in Tableau, Power BI, and voice-of-customer tools (e.g., Qualtrics).
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders and communicate effectively at the C-suite level.
