Overview

We are looking for an experienced Wholesale / Retail Shop Manager to oversee our seafood retail operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, some experience selling to the wholesale market, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, including sales, staff management, inventory control, and ensuring a superior shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the seafood retail store located in North Wollongong, 2500.
  • Manage and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
  • Implement and maintain merchandising standards to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies to drive store traffic and increase sales.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management within the seafood industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm
  • Proficient in retail management software.
