Public Sector People are working with a Council in the North East of Melbourne to recruit a Business Support Officer.

Working with the compliance and local laws team the successful applicant will be responsible for providing administrative support and issue residential permits.

Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To

  • Provide high quality administrative support to the local laws team
  • Assisting with the processing of residential permits
  • Enforcement and legislation
  • Answering calls and providing customer service

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Experience using pathway would be advantageous
  • Local Government experience only
  • Knowledge and experience within the local laws department
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Enforcement and legislation experience

Benefits:
  • 3-month contract with the possibility of extension
  • $40 per hour
  • Start ASAP - within 1 week
