Overview

Instrument Technician role at Ramsay Health Care. Casual positions available. This role involves cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for Frances Perry House's Clinical departments and 4 operating theatres.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely sterile products, trays, and equipment where applicable
  • Be rotated in various allocated areas in the department
  • Maintain consistency and continuous workflow between the Operating Theatre areas and CSSD while delivering exceptional customer service and upholding high sterilisation standards
Your Skills And Experience
  • Minimum Cert 3 qualification in Sterilising Services
  • Prior experience working in a Sterilising Unit
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Customer service oriented in internal and external settings
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Remuneration

Base Hourly Rates in accordance with Enterprise Agreement + Casual Loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements
  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
