Job Description

In this role as AR accountant, you will be responsible for managing customer payments, processing invoices and credits, and handling month-end tasks. Additionally, you will support the Senior AR & Field Services Accountant with field services-related tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices and clear payments in a timely manner
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts for customer payments and payments to FSP vendors
  • Generate fortnightly receivable reports and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Resolve customer queries and issue customer credits as needed
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Record month-end journals
  • Manage the Service Request mailbox and address inquiries
  • Assist in external audit engagements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in financial accounting, specifically in Accounts Receivable
  • Experience with computerised accounting systems D365 and Concur is advantageous
  • Analytical skills and ability to solve problems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
