The Department
Alfred Health Carer Services (Carer Services) reports to the Senior Manager - Community Health Programs, which is part of the Home, Acute & Community program. Carer Services supports carers, the person being supported and care relationships in a client-centred, timely and responsive manner.
Carer Services is funded by State and Commonwealth Governments to deliver multiple programs including phone support, in person support services, peer support, information and social activities to carers (including young carers) of people who are aged, living with dementia, have a disability or chronic illness, and/or mental illness.

The Role
This is an exciting admin opportunity within Alfred Health Carer Services. This role supports our Carer Engagement team to deliver high quality events and peer support programs, outreach and promotions to carers and service providers. The role is responsible for all administration for the Carer Engagement team, supporting the delivery of an annual carer engagement plan and activities across the southern metropolitan region.
Skills and Experience Required
- Excellent administration, organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experienced in using IT systems and learning new IT programs
