With six offices nationally and partner firms in more than 145 markets, wherever you want to go, we can take you there.**About this role**Our growing **Private Business Tax & Advisory** **(Business Services)** team is looking for an experienced accountant to join the Perth office as an **Associate.**Business leaders face many challenges throughout the business lifecycle: from managing daily operations, tax and compliance, to navigating a competitive landscape and planning an exit strategy. As part of our 'Reach for Remarkable' brand promise, Grant Thornton's people are committed to providing a strikingly different client experience that is agile, authentic, and personal.**Key responsibilities*** Preparation of accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies* Build and maintain strong relationships as part of an effective client service delivery team* Work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to wider firm initiatives across the business**Skills and experience*** You will have an interest in taxation and in the 'nuts and bolts' of accounting, while bringing a caring, conscientious, and practical approach to your clients.
