About The Department

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead curriculum development aligned with school and departmental initiatives.
  • Participate in delivering the vision of Early Childhood and State Schools Division.
  • Enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
  • Foster positive relationships among students, teachers, and stakeholders.

The Head of Department reports to the Principal or delegate.

Essential Capabilities
  • Proven teaching competence and ability to provide curriculum leadership for quality student outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain productive relationships within and beyond the school community.
  • Analytical skills to contribute to educational outcomes at the school level.
  • Effective management of human, financial, and physical resources to achieve organizational goals.
  • Support for and ability to foster an organizational culture based on ethical behaviors and values.
