Job Description:

Bubble Skincare is seeking an experienced sales executive with deep knowledge of the Australian retail landscape to join us as National Account Manager. You will oversee Priceline and future retail distribution in the region, leveraging your expertise in sales planning and account management to drive both short- and medium-term strategies. In this role, you will lead planning for core and new product launches, sets, promotional programs, and trade marketing initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners—including operations, retail marketing, education, and finance—to shape business plans, define account vision, and establish growth building blocks.

Your focus will be on delivering a sustainable growth plan for Bubble in Australia, managing retail sales and net sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will collaborate in-region with Bubble's Strategic Consultant for Australia and the Education Coordinator for Australia to ensure seamless execution.

This is a remote position based in Melbourne or Sydney, with some flexibility required to work across time zones with our global teams in the US and UK.

Primary evaluation metrics include retail relationship management, retail sales, net sales, trade/shopper marketing, strategic planning, forecasting, and supporting retailer P&L.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:
  • Understand retailer and market nuances to help set overall account plans that guide priorities, marketing campaigns, assortment, merchandising, promos/GWP/sets, events, and other business aspects. Maintain a deep understanding of competitors and the landscape.
  • Lead the development of a full calendar of tailored activities for retailer and retailer.com, leveraging brand category and marketing objectives, maximizing resources between B&M and .com.
  • Provide guidance on seasonal stock & sales plans through collaboration with sales and demand planning teams. Drive orders and achieve net sales targets.
  • Coordinate with retail marketing, education, PR, community, and creative teams to create a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Lead weekly sales analysis and report findings and recommendations to senior leadership to foster growth.
Retail Account Management:
  • Act as the primary contact for key retailer partners, building relationships with buying, marketing, and operations teams. Lead negotiations, resolve conflicts, and align on joint business goals.
  • Ensure all retailer requirements are met, including purchase orders, data reporting, pricing updates, and product setup on retailer portals. Maintain compliance to avoid chargebacks or delays.
  • Manage the end-to-end process of line reviews, including pitch meetings, shelf planning, portal administration, and NPD forecasting.
  • Collaborate with the product team to prepare product pitch decks for secondary space and expansion opportunities.
  • Lead and present strategic decks for market meetings to support business growth.
Forecasting & Stock/Sales Plans:
  • Develop seasonal and baseline stock and sales plans.
  • Oversee monthly feedback on stock and sales, providing guidance and re-forecasts by SKU/category.
  • Assist in annual and rolling forecast processes with the Chief Commercial Officer.
  • Support gross profit margin management with analytics and risk/opportunity assessments, including P&L management.
Marketing & Regional Support:
  • Partner with marketing to ensure strong visual presence in stores and online, maximizing ROI and targeting.
  • Work with social/digital teams to support retail campaigns and brand exposure.
  • Coordinate with PR to align product strategies with retailer activations and local market trends.
  • Support Australian-specific marketing initiatives, such as events and partnerships, where applicable.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years in Account or Category Management, with experience on the vendor or brand side.
  • Experience working directly with major Australian retailers, preferably in Beauty & Personal Care.
  • Passion for beauty and personal care, with knowledge of the Australian beauty landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLookup, business math).
  • Effective presentation skills for strategy and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with global teams outside the local market.
