The Opportunity

We have a rare opportunity to join our Group Underwriting team. The team is responsible for providing high levels of customer service and administrative support to the Underwriting team.

Day to day you will:

  • Make outbound calls to facilitate outstanding requirements
  • Engage in tele-interviews with applicants to collect information (both medical and financial)
  • Provide pre-assessment and reinsurance referral support
  • Pathology, Medical & PMAR management, monitoring requirements and payments
  • Internal & external inbox management, importing of underwriting documents into workflow system and delegating of emails
  • Respond to enquiries and keep all stakeholders informed of the progress and status on an ongoing basis

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • Understanding of and exposure to Underwriting processes (preferred)
  • Experience working with advisers /brokers/super funds and support staff
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent PC Skills
