Role detailsThe Physiotherapy Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Physiotherapist (Acute) to join their team on a temporary basis. For application instructions and mandatory requirements, please refer to the attached Role Description.
Your opportunityTo deliver high-level comprehensive physiotherapy clinical skills and leadership to provide effective and efficient treatment across acute inpatient clinical areas, serving client groups within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
About The TeamOur Physiotherapy Service delivers care to patients, both adults and children, throughout hospital departments, outpatient, community, and rural settings. Our Physiotherapists aim to restore function, maximize mobility and health, and minimize dysfunction. Treatment is tailored to each individual based on their needs.
About Our Hospital And Health ServiceMackay Hospital and Health Service comprises 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services, and 4 community health centres, employing over 3,700 staff. The district covers approximately 90,000 km2 and provides services to Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine, and Sarina.
