Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a locum position in Mackay, Queensland.
The role is to commence as soon as possible until 30th November and involves full-time hours from Monday to Friday.
About the Role- This is a community-focused position requiring travel reimbursement and accommodation.
This opportunity focuses on delivering community-based services across a range of clinical conditions and complexity. The target consumer population includes adults, including frail-aged individuals, and their carers.
Services encompass specialized and intensive rehabilitation, low-intensity rehabilitation, maintenance, and basic support, provided through a trans-disciplinary team comprising medical professionals, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, psychologists, speech pathologists, dietitians, specialist continence advisors, healthcare assistants, and personal care workers.
Key Responsibilities- To provide occupational therapy services to adults within the community, including those with complex needs.
- Collaborate with a trans-disciplinary team to deliver services that cater to consumer needs.
- Foster strong relationships with consumers, carers, and other stakeholders.
