Role detailsThe Bowen Hospital is seeking applications for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team on a permanent basis. For application procedures and mandatory requirements, please refer to the attached Role Description.
Your opportunity- Deliver high-level generalist physiotherapy clinical services to inpatient and outpatient clients at Bowen Hospital, covering conditions in respiratory, surgical, orthopaedic, neurological, musculoskeletal, rehabilitation, paediatrics, and women's health across all ages.
- Participate actively in an Allied Health team contributing to patient safety and positive outcomes by adhering to professional standards and working towards health service strategic priorities.
- Support health service improvement through quality activities and evidence-based practice to optimize functional outcomes and maximize benefits for patients, families, carers, and stakeholders.
- This is a sole practitioner position based at Bowen Hospital, with outreach services to Collinsville Multipurpose Health Service. The role is clinically responsible to the Medical Superintendent and operationally accountable to the Director of Nursing.
Bowen Hospital is a 27-bed rural hospital providing inpatient acute and sub-acute care, outpatient services, and 24-hour Emergency services. Additional services include speech pathology, physiotherapy, community mental health, pharmacy, and radiography.
