About the Role

The Perioperative department at Pindara Private Hospital offers an extensive range of surgical services across 16 fully equipped operating theatres, 2 endoscopy suites and 1 cardiac catheter lab.

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (Neurosurgery) with 4 years' experience to join our team.

You will be mentoring and leading a passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff alongside a supportive leadership team. This is a perfect opportunity for a senior nurse to step up into a clinical leadership role and build your skillset.

This is a permanent fulltime role. This role reports to the Nurse Unit Manager and works a 7-day rotating roster.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed you will bring a capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a passionate mentor. You will bring strong clinical skillset in perioperative services and have the ability to manage and provide leadership to staff.

You will also have the following:

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated clinical problem-solving abilities and risk minimisation.
• Demonstrated high level of clinical competence in area of speciality.
• Minimum 4 years Neurosurgical specialty experience.
• Demonstrated ability to train and support others.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality and infection control processes.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.

Remuneration

• $54.72-$58.82+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4).
