About the Role

The past few years have been a whirlwind of success, and with even more ambitious growth plans ahead, we're only just getting started We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to support a wide range of human resources activities across the employee lifecycle. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a strong administrative foundation in HR and a genuine interest in people, compliance, and continuous improvement.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working on a number of things, including but not limited to:

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertisements, screening, interviews, and offers.
  • Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation.
  • Support hiring managers with interview scheduling and candidate communications.
  • Facilitate onboarding and induction processes.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing end-to-end Work Cover claims
  • Provide timely and accurate advice to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in addressing employee concerns and support resolution of issues in collaboration with the HR Business Partner.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with relevant legislation, industrial awards, and enterprise agreements.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Supporting with maintaining payroll data to ensure employee details accurately reflect changes to roles, pay rates and all other relevant employee information and liaising with managers to ensure up to date employee and payroll information is collected and accurately reflected in the payroll system.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate (you) will have demonstrated experience of 1-3 years in a similar HR role, working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR practices, Experience in a multi-site or complex organisation and experience using HRIS systems.
