Daimler Truck Australia Pacific seeks a Marketing Assistant for a 12-month Industry Based Learning program supporting brand marketing and event coordination.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Assist brand Marketing functions and support marketing activities impacting sales and profit objectives
  • Execute the annual marketing calendar and collaborate with dealer partners to ensure correct brand representation
  • Assist in planning and delivering customer and dealer training events
  • Coordinate with external creative and media buying agencies for retail marketing delivery
  • Support the internal PR team to increase product awareness
  • Work across various business areas on projects to gain broader business understanding
  • Coordinate preparation and production of marketing materials including brochures, bulletins, promotions, and sales campaigns
  • Engage with key agency business partners and contribute to marketing strategy development
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Undergraduate student in penultimate year of study with at least 12 months or 2 semesters remaining as of January 2026
  • Ideally studying a Marketing-related degree
  • Innovative and highly motivated with a strong desire to shape the business
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build positive business relationships
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker with genuine passion for industry solutions
  • Team-oriented with flexible and adaptable attitude to changing business needs
  • Keen eye for detail ensuring accuracy and ability to develop or document new processes
  • Strong interest in immersing in the role to gain insights into the business unit and truck industry
  • Valid working visa for Australia/New Zealand for the entire contract duration
