The Role

Leeming SHS is seeking to appoint a dedicated and committed Teacher - Languages - French. The successful applicant will establish a positive and welcoming classroom with high expectations and impactful teaching, while building students' social and emotional skills. The role requires exemplary teaching ability, motivation, accountability for best practice, and the capacity to work in an environment with whole‑school collaboration and ongoing professional growth. An in‑depth understanding of the Western Australian Languages Curriculum and contemporary pedagogical practices to support second language learning is important.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

  • hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
