As the Senior Sourcing and Supplier Manager, you will support the Head of Procurement and Claims Supplier Management in all procurement and supplier management activities to ensure scalability, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and optimal customer outcomes within the organisation.

Responsibilities include overseeing corporate and claims supplier sourcing, managing insurance claims suppliers across Australia and New Zealand to ensure optimal performance and compliance, and developing and implementing strategic plans for procurement and supplier management to support organisational goals.

The role involves leading contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions, monitoring and managing the performance of claims suppliers to ensure high standards of service delivery, and contributing to the improvement of processes, tools, and systems to meet customer demands while maintaining compliance and quality standards. You also will assist the Head of Procurement and Claims Supplier Management with workload distribution and uplifting team capability.

Important to your success – let's grow together

  • Experience in a supplier management or procurement role within the Insurance industry, with experience in claims supplier category management. General Insurance experience preferred.
  • Recognised expertise in supplier relationship management and procurement services with proven ability to strategically partner with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong relationships and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Knowledge of the third-party risk management framework, industry best practices, market trends, and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Ability to conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, assess supplier performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Commitment to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring.
