Where you come in

Senior Manager of Market Access, Policy and Advocacy for Australia and New Zealand within the APAC Market Access team. You will participate in APAC-wide strategy development and execution and lead reimbursement expansion and value-based access programs for Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver a positive access and policy environment for Dexcom technology, lead HTA/guideline submissions, value-based funding programs, involvement in policy development, payer engagement, and representation on local and regional industry bodies.
  • Collaborate with Regional Access teams to establish evidence needs, including health economic and real-world evidence data, and develop strategies to optimize reimbursement and product positioning.
  • Establish, foster, and lead interactions between Dexcom and government entities; develop programs to support this work.
  • Report to the Director of APAC Access, Policy and Advocacy; work closely with the General Manager of Australia and New Zealand.
  • Collaborate with Health Economics and Outcomes Research, and Integrated Evidence Planning teams to support Market Access, Policy and Advocacy objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and experience in a relevant field (e.g., HTA, Health Policy, Value-based Access programs, Health Economics and Tendering).
  • Knowledge of market access for pharmaceuticals or medical devices; diabetes experience preferred.
  • Ability to create and execute strategic market access strategies aligned with long-term company goals.
  • Ability to design and deliver strategic value communications for payers and healthcare professionals, aligned with value-based principles.
  • Strong track record in Australian and New Zealand market access; experience with payer bodies and achieving reimbursement outcomes.
  • Experience building advocacy networks and working with policymakers and consultants.
  • Business, marketing, or sales experience with the ability to link insights to funding and reimbursement objectives.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with global and national Market Access teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for external stakeholders and internal teams; ability to read and interpret policy documents and procedures; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
