Seeking a Procurement Advisor to support an ICT team delivering essential systems and infrastructure. The role covers procurement planning, market approaches, negotiations, and ensuring compliance with government frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice on procurement processes aligned with government policies.
  • Prepare and review acquisition plans, evaluation documents and purchase recommendations.
  • Manage low to medium risk contract establishment and related procurement projects.
  • Support agency-specific and whole-of-government procurement arrangements.
  • Improve processes to achieve value-for-money outcomes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
Skills & Experience
  • At least two years' experience in a procurement advisory role.
  • Knowledge of government procurement principles and frameworks.
  • Ability to prepare procurement documents and support evaluation processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Understanding of WH&S, risk management and equity, diversity and inclusion principles.
  • Public sector procurement experience preferred.
