Experienced FCL Transport Coordinator (Import)

As an FCL Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of FCL shipments according to customer instructions, using approved transport providers, while minimizing storage charges. You will deliver exceptional customer service internally and externally, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers and service providers to ensure timely, compliant shipments, documenting customer needs for future reference, and striving for excellence.
  • Operational Excellence: Understand and adhere to Expeditors' internal process standards to complete accurate and compliant deliveries, customer billing, and system updates.
  • Service Provider Relationships: Build strong partnerships with shipping lines, transport companies, and freight yards to ensure high-quality service for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Freight forwarding experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of FCL cartage required; LCL and air experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with Expedient and ICS systems.
  • Courteous communication and professional phone manner.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
