About The Role

The Business Deployment Manager is responsible for overseeing the deployment of D365 Operations and Supply Chain solution across multiple client sites in alignment with each program release. This role ensures a seamless business transition by leading comprehensive planning, coordination, and execution of all deployment activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end planning, preparation, execution, and monitoring of deployment and business readiness activities across multiple client sites.
• Lead deployment and readiness efforts for D365 and related technologies, ensuring alignment with program release schedules.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee operational, transitional, and front-line support readiness plans to ensure timely and effective deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business, change management, and cutover teams—to drive deployment execution.
• Coordinate multi-site deployment efforts to ensure consistency, efficiency, and minimal operational disruption.
• Proactively identify, track, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies affecting deployment timelines and quality.
• Monitor and report on site-level deployment milestones, readiness criteria, and progress to senior leadership.
• Partner with IT and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related challenges effectively.
  
  

Skills and Experience:

• Strong project management and organisational abilities.
• Demonstrated success managing cross-functional deployments within complex, multi-site environments.
• In-depth knowledge of project management disciplines, including planning, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Over 10 years of experience in business-facing project management, preferably within large-scale IT or ERP transformation programs.
• Experience managing deployment and transition activities within retail or multi-site operational settings.
• Familiarity with solution assurance processes, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution in business-critical software deployments.
• Proven track record of collaboration with cross-functional delivery teams, product owners, and senior executives.
• Exposure to change management practices and business readiness planning is highly desirable.
