Accountant/ Senior Accountant- SMSF

Your typical week in this role will involve SMSF processing for a diverse client base with an attention to detail. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a high-performing team and engage directly with stakeholders and clients assigned to your portfolio.

Continuous self-improvement is encouraged through on-the-job learning and personalised training. You will be working with people who can inspire, mentor and challenge you.

What will your typical week look like?

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for SMSFs from start to finish.
• Exhibit ownership qualities and efficiently manage your workflow.
• Collaborate with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
• Create detailed workpaper files, including investment, income, and CGT reconciliations.
• Problem solving, liaising with the Auditor, Actuary and other stakeholders.

Let's talk about you

• Knowledge and experience in SMSF processing.
• Strong technical skills, including a fundamental understanding of the SIS Act and SIS Regs.
• Experience using Class Super software (desirable).
• A willingness and desire to train and mentor junior staff.
• CA or CPA qualified (preferred).
